Shape Sans
I created a very bold typography experiment turning into new and daring font experiences.
Shape Sans started as a simple typography experiment. How much could we take away from each glyph and still have it recognized as a letter? That is how Shape Sans was born. Through a lot of experiments and evaluation the typeface became what it is now. Its simple and yet bold shapes are the unique characteristics in the developement of Shape Sans. Now Shape Sans can be used to express new bold font experiences.
As a first experiment, the Shapes were cut out from paper.
